I'll add lighter movies Monster House, Ghostbusters, Young Frankenstein, The Mummy series, The Witches of Eastwick, The X-Files movies (and TV shows) and since it is a ghost story and I love the story, Scrooge with Albert Finney, which is the great musical version I forgot to mention in an earlier post about the best Christmas Carol movies. I remember seeing it at the movie theater at Merle Hay Mall in Des Moines with my dad.
