OK it's all about me today. Someone is now in his late 40s.
My favorite teams while growing up in the '60s and '70s...Drake University basketball, Iowa State U. football, Boston Celtics basketball, Pittsburgh Steelers football, and Miami Dolphins football are the definate top five.
Players? Oscar Robertson, John Havlicek, Otis Taylor, Larry Bird, Roman Gabriel, Paul Warfield, Lynn Swann, George Amundson, and Wayne Kreklow. Anyone know who the last two are?
Some of my dad's favorites were Roger Maris, Ted Williams, and Jesse Owens. Along with Oscar and Larry of course. Like them Dad is a native of Indiana and he refereed some of Oscar's high school games. Like Oscar after him, Dad was All City in Indianapolis.
