Here is some info on my other new collecting hobby, Avon cologne bottles. They have perfume bottles too but as a guy I like the cologne bottles. What is neat is they are inexpensive, found in thrift stores, mostly from the 70s, and there are many different ones. I look for things that represent things I've done, etc. like the baseball glove, football, and track shoe...the army jeep, the eagle, the quill and inkwell (I'm a Whittier College Poet.)...the red VW Bug (my mom drove one when I was little), the German Shepherd (my middle name is Sheppard, my mother's maiden name), the Eiffel Tower (we honeymooned in Paris), the Indy car, the Cardinal (Indiana state bird)...you get the picture.
